ATAHAN TOPÇU 

(Founder, M.Arch Architect / AADRL, London)

Atahan Topçu received his Bachelor of Architecture degree from Bilkent University (2017) in Ankara, Turkey, with Honours. He was awarded the “gold prize” in the Architecture Master Prize in 2016 with his team during his years. 

 

He pursued his academic career with an M.Arch degree from the Architectural Association, Design Research Lab (2019) in London, UK. He has grounded his thesis research on the game-based connection between urban planning and housing by utilising advanced digital fabrication techniques.

 

After having some working experience in architectural offices, in 2020, he founded Topcu Architecture to explore how his practice makes a reasonable impact on human habitation in general. Through this path, He has been awarded in several national and international architectural competitions. Besides, he is teaching architectural design studios at Izmir Institute of Technology (IYTE) and IEU Architecture as a part-time lecturer.
