Atahan Topçu Architecture
Atahan Topçu Architecture 2021 yılında İzmir’de kurulan ve ilkesel olarak ortak yaşam kalitesini yükseltme hedefine odaklı bir mimarlık pratiğidir. Aktif olarak uygulama ve tasarım faaliyetlerini sürdürmekte ve bununla beraber ulusal ve uluslararası yarışmalara katılım sağlamaktadır.
Atahan Topçu
Atahan Topçu, Lisans Derecesini (B.Arch) 2017 yılında Ankara Bilkent Üniversitesi Mimarlık Bölümü'nden Onur Derecesi ile almıştır. Eğitim hayatına Architectural Association School of Architecture, Londra'da yüksek lisans tezini tamamlayarak devam etmiştir. Mezuniyetinin ardından çeşitli ofislerde mesleki tecrübesini arttırdıktan sonra 2021 yılında Atahan Topçu Mimarlık Ofisini kurmuştur. Öğrencilik yıllarında başlayan ve profesyonel mimarlık pratiğinde de sürdürdüğü ulusal ve uluslararası yarışmalara katılımı sonucu ödül derecelerine layık görülmüştür. Bunun yanısıra İzmir Yüksek Teknoloji Enstitüsü'nde (İYTE) aktif olarak tasarım stüdyosu dersleri vermektedir.
ATAHAN TOPÇU (Founder, M.Arch Architect / AADRL, London)Atahan Topçu received his Bachelor of Architecture degree from Bilkent University (2017) in Ankara, Turkey with Honours. He was awarded the “gold prize” in The Architecture Master Prize in 2016 with his team during Bilkent years. He pursued his academic career with an M.Arch degree from the Architectural Association, Design Research Lab (2019) in London, UK. He has grounded his thesis research on the game-based connection between urban planning and housing by utilizing advanced digital fabrication techniques.After having some working experience in architectural offices, in 2020, he founded Topcu Architecture to explore how his practice makes a reasonable impact on human habitation in general. Through this path, He has been awarded in several national and international architectural competitions. Besides he is teaching at the architectural design studios of Izmir Institute of Technology (IYTE) and IEU Architecture as part-time faculties.
